For over ten years, Jonah Barnett has produced films, plays, and web series under the artist moniker "Malicious Wallydrags." The name originates from an old Tumblr URL, and that should be enough explanation to be honest.

Since beginning their film production company, Malicious Wallydrags has produced over twenty feature films, documentaries, shorts, plays, and web series–often dealing with subjects such as queer fantasy, the natural world, prehistory, and a love of books.

Now, in the year of our Lord 2026, Malicious Wallydrags will continue as an imprint of Countershade Press. This gives us the space to keep producing films, plays, podcasts, etc., while also focusing our efforts on the expansive project that is Countershade.
